Google Assistant

Exercise:
- Talk to quick coach
"Hey, Google, talk to Body Workout" to get started. You can tell Google your name, so it can greet you each time (or give yourself an alias if you're feeling creative). Google will ask what workout you want-- full body, abs or arms

"Hey, Google, ask Meditation Guide for a meditation."

Hey, Google, talk to Five-minute Plank."

You can ask for other specific types of stories. Try commands like “Tell me a princess story,” “Tell me a monster story” or “Tell me the Hansel and Gretel story.” This ability is a little limited. If you try “Tell me a scary story,” you will get a joke about the internet going down.

Google Home responds to keywords, so when you get to the wolf in The Three Little Pigs, for example, you’ll hear the sound of huffing and puffing. Parents with young children who are into Golden Books will get a kick out of this ability. It adds an extra dimension to story time.

  1. Download a free copy of Ara the Star Engineer here or a short sample of Disney’s Coco: The Little Golden Book here:

Soothe your senses: Just like Amazon’s Alexa speakers, Google Home can play a wide range of noise effects and nature sounds to help snap you into focus. Try saying, “Hey Google, play white noise” or “Hey Google, play relaxing sounds.” You can also ask for specific nature themes such as rain or ocean sounds to keep you calm at work.
Consult the dictionary: Google Assistant is also quick with definitions, synonyms, and spellings (“Hey Google, how do you spell ‘lugubrious?'”), so you can get help with your writing without breaking focus on the current task. And if you miss the answer the first time, you can always say, “Hey Google, say that again.”

Google today launched a nice new Assistant feature called My Storytime that lets parents simulate reading to their kids when one parent is away from home. A parent will be able to record themselves reading chapters of stories, and the other parent (or babysitter) can ask Google Nest to read those recordings to the kids.
The available stories range from tales about Blaze and the Monster Machines to more classic bedtime stories like “Sleeping Beauty” and “Little Red Riding Hood.”
That’s in addition to other story features like “read along,” which automatically plays sound effects as you read from a number of Disney Little Golden Books. That’s obviously the cooler feature overall, but the selection of supported books remains limited. For longer stories, there’s obviously audiobook support.

  • Once the Assistant appears, give a simple command such as “Take a screenshot.”

It is the normal process to take a screenshot shot and then open it in Google Photos before using Google Lens

you say Hey Google, show me the meaning of pear. And Google shows a definition for pair.

You can say show me the meaning of p e a r instead.
